Public Capital Markets
What we do
Accessing deeper pools of equity and debt capital from the public markets can create the foundation for a company’s long-term growth and success. However, the process of transitioning from private to public and expanding a company’s investor base successfully is a significant challenge – both in terms of understanding the required processes and positioning the company’s story with public investors.
With multiple decades as equity research analysts, investors, and investment bankers raising capital across a wide range of real estate sectors we have a deep understanding of how to navigate these challenges alongside our clients.
Our goal is to solve for outcomes that are best for our clients, taking a hands-on approach to investment positioning and transaction structuring and seeking to provide independent advice without any balance sheet or other conflicts.

Client Testimonials
“I would highly recommend Margaret Whelan in any capacity as a capital markets advisor. Not only does she know everyone and can get people to answer her calls, she is a true advisor and friend with deep industry relationships and knowledge.
Margaret can help guide small companies to large companies in capital transactions. With her wealth of knowledge in the housing sector she knows the right executives, business leaders, board members, and can make recommendations for strategic partnerships. Margaret understands all parts of the capital business from debt to equity, public or private sale/capital raise and can connect the right people.
More important than capital, she is invested in people. She is always available 24/7, to listen, to offer advice, to think things through with you, to challenge you, and be strategic. She is invested in people and relationships for the long term. I highly recommend Margaret and am available for any additional questions.”
